DAMASK WOVEN LABELS
Damask labels are top of the line high end special weaves. They are manufactured with a much higher thread count. This double weave brings more color to the surface and intensifies design and lettering definition. The rich color, sharp detail and soft comfortable matte texture is unsurpassed in the apparel industry.
SATIN WOVEN LABELS
Satin woven labels are also a high end fabrication, slightly less expensive than damask weave depending on the label design. There are twice as many warp ends in a satin weave than a taffeta weave. The warp ends run in the same direction as the woven edge of the label. Due to this increased number of warp ends, there is a sheen on the face of this label giving it a "satin" appearance. Straight satin labels can either be black or white background or some variation of white. When going to darker grounds, other than black, we lose most of the soft sheen. Satin twill grounds will achieve navy and maroon colors and a variety of other shades, however it will not be as soft or shiny.

TAFFETA WOVEN LABELS
Taffeta woven labels (polyester labels) are generally used in active wear, leisure wear, moderately priced or semi-expensive garments. Taffeta labels have a lower thread count than Satin and Damask weaves, therefore are lighter in weight. As with all our labels, they will last the lifetime of the garment. Colors will not run and the labels will not shrink in washing
HIGH DEFINITION LABELS
High definition labels are Damask weave using 50 Denier yarns to create a clear and sharp image.
